MUMBAI – Renowned actress Rani Mukerji was visibly moved as she accepted an Honorary Doctor of Letters from La Trobe University during a special ceremony held in Melbourne, Australia.

With this recognition, Rani Mukerji became the second Indian film personality to receive an Honorary Doctor of Letters from La Trobe University, following in the footsteps of the celebrated actor Shah Rukh Khan.
