The Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters has started mailing voter information guides to registered voters ahead of the November 4, 2025, Statewide Special Election.

The Registrar of Voters’ Office (ROV) in Santa Clara County has commenced the mailing of County Voter Information Guides to all registered voters for the upcoming November 4, 2025, Statewide Special Election. This guide is designed to provide essential information about the candidates and measures that will appear on the ballot, as well as details regarding Vote Center locations, Official Ballot Drop Box sites, a sample of the Official Ballot, and various election resources to assist voters in preparing to cast their ballots.

Voter guides are being sent to all active voters who are registered by the deadline of October 4, 2025. For those who have indicated a preference for voting materials in languages other than English, translated voter guides are available in Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. Voters can conveniently check their registration status, register to vote, update their registration, or change their preferred language online at www.sccvote.org.

Matt Moreles, the Registrar of Voters, emphasized the importance of the County Voter Information Guide, stating, “With so many impactful issues in this special election, the County Voter Information Guide is an important tool to help voters successfully cast their ballot. Our goal is to provide a trusted source of nonpartisan election information so voters can learn what’s on the ballot, how and where to return their ballot, and the various language and accessibility options available for voters to make their voices heard in this election.”

In an effort to promote environmental sustainability, voters are encouraged to opt-out of receiving a printed paper voter guide and instead choose to receive an electronic version, which is available in all mandated languages. This environmentally friendly option can be selected in under five minutes by visiting sccvote.org/gogreen. Voters who choose the paperless option will receive an email containing a link to the online version of the voter guide.

Additionally, Vote by Mail packets, which will include the official ballot for this election, are scheduled to be mailed to all active registered voters on October 6, 2025.

For further information or assistance, voters can reach out to the Registrar of Voters’ Office at (408) 299-VOTE (8683) or toll-free at (866) 430-VOTE (8683), or they can visit www.sccvote.org.
