MUMBAI – Actress Soha Ali Khan has given fans a glimpse into her daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu’s creativity, sharing what she described as one of the most “delightful things” she discovered in her seven-year-old daughter’s workbook.
The handwritten note features a charming short story penned by Inaaya about her grandparents, the renowned actress Sharmila Tagore and the late cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.
Soha took to social media to share a picture of the note, expressing her joy: “Just one of the delightful things I find in my work notebook.” Another note accompanying the story read, “Love that Abba is Mansur Tagore and that Apa was born a ‘girl daughter.’”
Inaaya’s story begins with a whimsical account of her family history. It reads, “One day Sharmilla Tagor and Munsore Tagor had a baby boy and they named him Saif. Saif grew up a bit and then they had a girl daughter named Saba. They were expecting no more children but suddenly… Sharmilla was pregnant again!!! And a baby called Soha appeared. She was the smallest, and kindest baby of all, and Munsore and Sharmilla loved her sooooo much. Slowly Soha grew up, until… an incident happened.”
Inaaya is the daughter of actors Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu, and her story reflects the warmth and affection that characterize her family.
Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi were married in 1968, both being icons in their respective fields. The couple welcomed three children: actor Saif Ali Khan, Saba Ali Khan, and actress Soha Ali Khan, each of whom has made a mark in the entertainment industry.
