Celebrations started with American National Anthem sung by Nipun Marwaha, Followed with Flag hoisting by Nassau County Controller Elaine Phillips, Town of Oyster bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino Deputy County Executive Anissa Moore, NY State Senator Steven D Rhoads, New York State Assemblyman John K Mikulin , North Hempstead Town Clerk Ragini Srivastava, Hewlett House Executive Director Geri Barish, Judge Elizabeth Fox-McDonough, Judge Sarita Kapoor, Indu Jaiswal Chairperson IAF, Mrs. Beena Kothari, Mrs. Jyoti Gupta and Mr Deepak Bansal ,

Indu Jaiswal Chairperson of Indian American Forum welcomed and greeted all the guests. Dr Bobby Kalotee , Chairperson of Human Rights Commission in Nassau County, Deputy County Executive and Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino highlighted the significance of India’s Republic Day. Patriotic Medley presented by Jyoti Gupta, Anuradha Khanna and group created patriotic atmosphere. Several community leaders and members of various organizations graced the event.
