Bollywood superstar Salman Khan reassured fans that his recent social media post about feeling “alone” and “lonely” was not a reflection of his personal life, emphasizing his strong support network.
MUMBAI – Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has clarified that his recent social media post discussing feelings of being “alone” and “lonely” was not about his personal life. He assured fans that he is surrounded by family, friends, and well-wishers.
In his earlier Instagram post, Salman shared a shirtless picture while reflecting on the distinction between being alone and feeling lonely. He wrote, “By I me myself, 2 ways to be by yr self, Alone and Lonely, Alone is by choice n lonely when nobody wants to be with u….. Ab iske aage you Figure out what you need to do (sic).”
The post generated concern among his fans, prompting the actor to address the speculation through a note on X, formerly known as Twitter. In his message, he stated, “Hey, I wasn’t talking about myself. How can I be alone when I have such a large amazing family n friends n how can I be lonely when I have u guys, your wishes n Duas, I would be the biggest na shukra (ungrateful person) ever.”
Salman further elaborated that while he cherishes the people around him, there are moments when he prefers solitude. He expressed, “Kabhi Kabhi logon ke saath reh kar pak jaata hun, isliye some me time, Buss… Iss baar koi photo nahi breaking news bana diya, Mummy pooch rahi hai, Kya hua Beta? Chill maro yaar (Sometimes I get bored of being around people, so I take some time off, that’s it… This time, no photos, you guys turned it into breaking news, Mom is asking, ‘What happened, Beta?’ Chill guys).”
Earlier this month, Salman also shared another post offering life advice centered on honesty and integrity. He wrote, “Thinking yeh hai kisi bhi field mai. Soch lo samaj lo clear ho jao decision lo aur sab bhool ke aage badho and topi se yaad aaya topi khud pehno kisi ko pehnao nahi na kisi ko pehnane do.”
Currently, Salman is working on director Apoorva Lakhia’s war drama, “Maatrubhumi,” which features actress Chitrangada Singh. He is also set to appear in an untitled project produced by Dil Raju and directed by Vamshi.
