Actress Geetanjali Mishra has emotionally bid farewell to the popular comedy series ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan,’ marking a significant milestone in her career.

MUMBAI – Actress Geetanjali Mishra has bid an emotional farewell to the popular comedy show ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan,’ marking the conclusion of what she described as a memorable chapter in her career.

Reflecting on her journey, Mishra shared that her transition from crime, drama, and conspiracy-driven roles to comedy began nearly two-and-a-half years ago with the project ‘Tulsi Pujan’ and has now culminated with ‘Holika Dahan.’

In her farewell message, she expressed heartfelt gratitude to her audience, stating, “A big thanks from the bottom of my heart and my art to my lovely audience, viewers for accepting, appreciating, criticizing, and celebrating this journey with me. Finally, this segment of my journey with ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’ ends here.”

Mishra also took a moment to acknowledge director Ritwik Mukherjee, whom she referred to as “the coolest director.” She praised his unique ability to highlight the strengths of actors while transforming their weaknesses into strengths.

‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’ is a spin-off of the popular series ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!’ The show revolves around the character Happu Singh, a corrupt police officer in the bustling city of Kanpur, and features his mother, wife, and nine children.

As Mishra embarks on new ventures, her departure from ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’ marks a significant transition in her acting career, showcasing her versatility and commitment to exploring different genres.

According to IANS, the actress’s journey in comedy has resonated with audiences, and her contributions to the show will be fondly remembered.
