Dr. Prem Reddy to be Conferred with “Special Presidential Appreciation and Achievement Award at AAPI’s Convention in Philadelphia

“AAPI will honor Dr. Prem Reddy, AAPI Patron in Chief with the “Special Presidential Appreciation and Achievement Award” for his Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Philanthropy,” Dr. Ravi Kolli, President of AAPI announced here. “Dr. Reddy will be conferred with the most prestigious of all AAPI awards along with other recipients during the Presidential Gala during the 41st annual AAPI Convention planned to be held in Philadelphia from July 6th to 9th, 2023.”

Others who will be honored along with Dr. Reddy with awards during gala include: Dr. Ranga Reddy is the recipient of The Lifetime Achievement Award; Dr. Manmeet Ahluwalia is the recipient of the AAPI 2023 Most Distinguished Physician Award; AAPI’s 2023 Most Distinguished Service Award is being bestowed on Dr. Udaya Shivangi; Dr. Soumya Reddy Neravetla is the recipient of the AAPI’s 2023 Most Distinguished YPS Award; and, AAPI’s 2023 Most Distinguished MSRF Award will be given to Mehul Mehra, Dr. Kolli said.

Dr. Reddy and his family founded the Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation, a non-profit foundation that has donated millions to charities supporting healthcare and education, including universities and college scholarships; national charities such as Boys and Girls Club; medical equipment for poverty-stricken regions around the world; mental health care; and free community clinics. Dr. Reddy also founded the Prime Healthcare Foundation, not-for-profit public charity that owns 14 of the Prime Healthcare hospitals. Combined, the foundations have assets of $1.3 billion, all donated by Dr. Reddy and his family. Driven by Dr. Reddy’s life-long passion for healing and education, the Foundations act as stewards of private funds to be used for public good and fulfill a commitment to give back to communities.
