For those living within the designated delivery area, ordering is simple. Customers can use the Flytrex app to check if their home falls within the four-mile delivery zone. If eligible, they can place an order for up to two large 16-inch pizzas, along with sides and drinks, as long as the total weight remains under 8.8 pounds.
Once the order is placed, it is processed directly through Little Caesars’ point of sale system, marking the first time a drone delivery platform has integrated so closely with a restaurant’s operations. This connection streamlines the preparation process, allowing the store to prepare the food as usual. Instead of handing the order to a delivery driver, the food is collected curbside by the drone through a method Flytrex refers to as remote pickup.
