MUMBAI – Shah Rukh Khan has garnered fresh global buzz following a recent acknowledgment from the Academy. The prestigious organization shared a clip of his iconic speech from the 2007 film Om Shanti Om on its official Instagram account.
On April 16, the Academy posted the clip featuring Khan’s memorable dialogue, captioning it, “One thing about destiny… it doesn’t miss. Film: OM SHANTI OM (2007) Directed by Farah Khan Written by Farah Khan, Mushtaq Sheikh, and Mayur Puri Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, Shreyas Talpade, and Kirron Kher.”
Om Shanti Om, directed by filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan, is celebrated as a landmark commercial Hindi film that artfully blends romance, reincarnation, and self-aware humor. The film features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role and marks the acting debut of actress Deepika Padukone.
