Jugraj Singh celebrated his 100th international cap for India during a recent FIH Pro League match against Germany in Rotterdam, marking a significant milestone in his hockey career.
Jugraj Singh, a defender and drag flicker for the Indian men’s hockey team, reached a remarkable milestone by completing 100 international appearances during the FIH Pro League match against Germany in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Hockey India extended its congratulations to Singh for this significant achievement.
Hailing from Amritsar, Punjab, Jugraj made his senior international debut in 2022 during the FIH Pro League matches held in South Africa. Since then, he has become an integral part of the national team.
At 29 years old, Jugraj has contributed to several major accomplishments for India, including being part of the team that won the Asia Cup in 2025. He also played a key role in securing gold medals at the Asian Champions Trophy in 2023 and 2024, as well as earning a silver medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Reflecting on his achievement, Jugraj expressed his joy at reaching this milestone. “It is an absolute honor to complete 100 international matches for India. Wearing the national jersey has been my lifelong dream. I am truly delighted to reach this milestone today and want to express my deepest gratitude to my family for their unconditional support,” he said.

This journey has given me incredible memories. My goal is to continue working hard and keep contributing to the team’s success. I want to play for India for as long as possible and win many more laurels for the country.”
