We retain personal information only as long as needed for the stated purposes (or longer where required/permitted by law). No purpose requires retention beyond the period in which users maintain an account.

When no ongoing legitimate business need exists, we delete or anonymize the information, or securely store and isolate it until deletion is possible (e.g., backups).

We implement appropriate and reasonable measures to protect personal information. Despite safeguards, transmission/storage technologies cannot be guaranteed 100% secure. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk—access Services within a secure environment.

8. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

Upon termination requests, we deactivate/delete your account and data from active databases. We may retain some information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot, support investigations, enforce legal terms, or comply with law.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO‑NOT‑TRACK FEATURES

Most browsers and some mobile OS/apps include a Do‑Not‑Track (DNT) setting. No uniform standard exists yet, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will describe that practice in a revised notice.

10. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: Yes. California residents have specific rights regarding access to personal information.

Shine the Light: California Civil Code §1798.83 permits annual, free requests about categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing and the names/addresses of those third parties. Submit written requests using the contact details below.

Under 18: If you are under 18, reside in California, and have a registered account with Services, you may request removal of publicly posted data by contacting us (include your account email and a statement that you reside in California). We will ensure the data is not publicly displayed, though it may persist in backups.

CCPA Privacy Notice

The California Code of Regulations defines a “resident” as:

  1. Every individual in California for other than a temporary/transitory purpose; and
  2. Every individual domiciled in California who is outside the State for a temporary/transitory purpose.

All others are “non-residents.” If this definition applies to you, we must adhere to certain rights and obligations regarding your personal information.

If you use an authorized agent to exercise your opt‑out right, we may deny a request without proof of valid authorization.

Will your information be shared with anyone else?

We may disclose personal information to service providers under written contracts. We may use personal information for our own business purposes (e.g., internal research for technological development/demonstration). This is not “selling.”

TheUNN Corporation has not disclosed or sold personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding 12 months and will not sell such information in the future.

Your rights with respect to your personal data

Right to delete. Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., free speech of others, legal obligations, protection against illegal activities).

Right to know. Depending on circumstances, you may request to know whether we collect/use personal information; categories collected; purposes; whether we sell; categories sold/disclosed; third‑party categories; and business/commercial purposes.

We are not obligated to provide/delete de‑identified information or re‑identify data to verify a request.

Right to non‑discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Verification process

We must verify your identity to process requests. We may ask for information to match our records or contact you via previously provided channels. We use information provided solely to verify identity/authority. If needed, we may request additional information for verification/security/fraud prevention, which we delete after verification.

Other privacy rights

  • Designate an authorized agent to submit CCPA requests (with proof of authorization).
  • Opt out of future selling of personal information to third parties; we will act as soon as feasible and no later than 15 days from request.
